Housebound Noah and Kyle's First Bath

Since Kyle was born over 3 weeks ago, we have been a bit house bound. When this happens, we must find new and exciting ways to entertain ourselves. We have learned this week that Noah has terrific stacking abilities.

When Uncle Brian was here, he spent a lot of time teaching Noah new and wonderful things!

Kyle finally got his first bath last weekend. His umbilical cord had taken over 2 weeks to fall off, so we had to wait on the tub bath until then. Poor guy--he hates being cold! But the actual bath seemed to be okay in his book.

I had to search long and hard to find a bath pic that didn't have inappropriate baby nudity involved. =) He really did seem to enjoy the warm water and smelled a whole lot better after we were done with him!

A proud big brother! I have other cute shots of Noah, but they include graphic baby nudity, so I chose this one. Noah's job was to take a plastic measuring cup and keep dipping it into the water and then pouring the water over Kyle's feet and legs to keep him warm. He took the job very seriously! He has proven to be a big helper where Brother is concerned. He throws away dirty diapers, fetches binkies and clean diapers, and even got a clean baby blanket out of the dryer for me the other day. We asked him how he felt about Kyle, and he said, "Good! I like him a lot!" He doesn't always act like he wants to be near him, but he seems to like him. =)

AWESOME blog, man! I think you've go the hang of it and it really does look great! (Not just saying that!)
Posting the pics can be tricky, but you just have to move them into the order you want, or purposefully upload them backwards? (Haven't tried that one yet.)
Keep up the site!

OH and Kyle (and Noah) are such cuties!!!

OH AND pretty sure that blogger is linked to Picasa, which may allow for the keepsake cd - not sure though, I'll have to look into it.
